Ecstasy is one of the most potentially hazardous and dangerous drugs that is available in the common market. The prolonged use of this drug produces a neurotoxin which affects the central nervous system. Although it can be used therapeutically for several psychological benefits or syndromes, the continuous usage leads to damage of the brain, the liver and the central nervous system.

Investigation agencies also use these drugs as they have the potential to provide hallucinations and hypnosis for an effect of three hours. In the early 1990’s it was sold at about 15$ a gram. Now it has been of the leading demand in the market and the prices have shot up by more than ten times. This drug also stimulates sexual desire and is commonly one of the date rape drugs used by party goers.
